It Will Be Hard To Find A Better Made Oven.
Ovens are just one small contribution that the Breville Company has made to our lives in an effort to keep our time in the kitchen as pleasant and stress free as possible. The Breville Company originally founded in Sydney Australia in 1932 created the original sandwich toaster, a product that became so popular that it evolved into the generic term for any sandwich toaster manufactured. The name Breville is actually a combination of the two founder’s names Bill O’Brien and Harry Norville and in 2002 the name was introduced to the United States.
Two models of Ovens to choose from.
These ovens come in two varieties, the 1800 W SmartOven with convection and a four sliced toaster oven. Both of these ovens though come with a unique feature known as Element IQ, which makes sure that power is used efficiently across the units pre-set programs. Element IQ can even be adjusted to your personal preferences and it has the ability to remember these adjustments in settings for future cooking tasks. The only thing that would make these ovens perfect would be the addition of a rotisserie.
The Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven is Breville’s top of the line oven providing 4/5th of a cubic foot of cooking space and a whopping 1800 W of
cooking power. You also get the opportunity to choose from nine pre-set functions such as, toast, bake, roast, pizza as well as five others. Another big plus for this oven is the incorporation of convection cooking, which will reduce cooking temperatures by about 25° and power consumption as well. Operation of this appliance is also simple and straightforward with a push-button and turn-knob control panel as well as an LCD screen, making for effortless operation.
The Breville BOV650XL
The Breville BOV650XL is their other offering in the counter-top oven arena. The BOV650XL has pretty much the same features as the BOV800XL Smart Oven, with the following exceptions. The oven is slightly smaller coming in at 3/5th of a cubic foot, it’s not capable convection cooking and has a maximum of eight pre-set controls.
Premium quality is the name of the game here.
These ovens are definitely of premium quality and that is reflected in what purchasers of these ovens have had to say about them. Both ovens have gotten at least 4 star ratings from over 85% of the people that own them, with these folks saying that they would buy it again and also recommend it to others. This is a pretty phenomenal accomplishment for a company and piece of equipment that has only been in the U.S. market since 2002.
